GeSI Joins The Nest Campus 2026 during Climate Week NYC

From 22–24 September, GeSI will join The Nest Campus in New York City, connecting digital innovation with practical approaches to climate and economic resilience.

The Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) will participate in The Nest Campus 2026, taking place at the North Javits Center in New York City, as part of its wider programme during Climate Week NYC.

The event brings together leaders from business, technology, finance, infrastructure and public policy to explore how practical solutions can strengthen resilience and accelerate implementation.

This focus closely aligns with GeSI’s mission: ensuring that digital innovation delivers measurable value for people, business and the planet.

Why digital resilience matters

Digital systems increasingly support the infrastructure on which societies and economies depend.

Data, connectivity and intelligent platforms can improve energy and water management, strengthen supply-chain visibility, support climate-risk planning and help organisations respond more effectively to disruption.

At the same time, these systems must be developed responsibly. The growth of AI, data centres and connected infrastructure is increasing demand for energy, water, hardware and materials.

A credible digital resilience agenda must therefore address both sides of the equation: how technology can strengthen climate and economic resilience, and how the infrastructure behind that technology can be scaled sustainably.

Meet GeSI at Booth #324

At its dedicated booth, GeSI will present its work as a global platform connecting the digital sector with governments, cities, international organisations, research institutions and industries undergoing sustainable transformation.

The booth is designed around two priorities:

  • strengthening awareness of GeSI and the Digital with Purpose agenda;
  • highlighting the members and partners contributing to GeSI’s wider New York programme.

The booth will also highlight GeSI members and partners contributing to the wider programme, including Verizon. Verizon, also a sponsor of The Nest Campus 2026, will participate separately at the event with its own booth.

Together, these organisations represent a network spanning the Americas, Asia-Pacific and the wider international sustainability community.

Their participation reflects a central principle of GeSI’s work: sustainable digital transformation cannot be delivered by one organisation or sector alone.

Visitors will be able to learn more about GeSI’s work across sustainable digital infrastructure, climate resilience, cities, supply chains and responsible technology deployment, as well as the platforms and partnerships helping move solutions from concept to implementation.

Connecting solutions with implementation

GeSI’s broader Climate Week NYC programme will bring together organisations working across technology, infrastructure, finance, policy and urban development.

Across these engagements, the focus will be on practical collaboration: connecting real needs with credible solutions, implementation partners, financing opportunities and measurable outcomes.

Digital transformation creates value when it improves the performance of physical and social systems—making infrastructure more efficient, strengthening resilience, improving resource management and supporting better services for communities.

The Nest Campus provides an opportunity to connect these priorities with organisations capable of turning ideas into action.
