Introducing Carolina Futuro – DwP Programme Coordinator

Earlier this year we welcomed the newest member of our team – Carolina Futuro. Her role focuses on advancing DwP programs, membership, proprietary sustainability assessment framework alongside GeSI’s portfolio and leadership team.

Carolina has hit the ground running and has immediately become an invaluable part of the team. She has a wealth of experience designing and negotiating development projects with diverse stakeholders such as governments, humanitarian organizations, UN agencies, and the private sector in Central and East Africa through her work at the United Nations Office of Project Services (UNOPS). More recently, she crafted partnership strategies and tools for the Division of Data, Analytics, and Delivery for Impact (DDI) at the World Health Organization (WHO) to efficiently manage partner relations. Prior to her Institutional experience, she also launched a startup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, fostering cooperation between social businesses.
