GeSI to Participate in the EU-Japan Business Round Table 2026 in Brussels

GeSI will participate in the 27th Annual Meeting of the EU-Japan Business Round Table (BRT), taking place on 16 April 2026 in Brussels.

As part of the programme, Luis Neves, CEO of GeSI, will take part in the WP4 discussion during the session dedicated to Working Party reports and exchanges.

The annual EU-Japan Business Round Table brings together senior representatives from business and public institutions to discuss shared priorities shaping the future of economic cooperation between Europe and Japan. This year’s meeting will focus on key issues including global trade, economic security, industrial competitiveness, decarbonisation, and the role of digital and emerging technologies in industrial transformation.

GeSI’s participation in the WP4 discussion reflects the increasing relevance of digital transformation in broader international conversations on competitiveness, resilience, and sustainable growth. As governments and industries across both regions respond to shifting geopolitical and economic conditions, dialogue on the role of digital technologies in enabling long-term industrial and societal value is becoming ever more important.

Through its engagement in this forum, GeSI will contribute its perspective on how digital innovation can support more trusted, resilient, and sustainable pathways for cooperation and development.

The meeting also provides an opportunity to strengthen exchanges with business and policy leaders from both Europe and Japan at a time when closer international collaboration is essential to addressing shared strategic challenges.

GeSI looks forward to contributing to the discussion in Brussels.
