Tim Feng is positioned as a cross-sectoral sustainability architect, an ecosystem catalyst and boundary-dissolving leader. At GeSI, Tim Feng aspires to embrace a new paradigm of sustainability leadership—forging transformative alliances with scalable, tech-enabled sustainability impacts.
At Vanke, Feng played a pivotal role to transform China’s largest real estate developer into a global sustainability partner, pioneering WWF Climate Savers and partnering with international decarbonization initiatives, including Bloomberg New Economy Forum and the Paulson Prize. As a global bridge-builder, he leveraged Canadian governance expertise to strengthen municipal services in China and later scaled market-tested sustainability models as International Investment Ambassador for five Chinese cities.
As a passionate architect of change, Feng co-founded Biosphere 3, China’s flagship net-zero community, with deployment of AI-driven smart micro grid, resource circularity and digital-enabled sustainability. The Biosphere 3 model was introduced and scaled up more broadly through Feng’s creation of the Global Alliance for Net-Zero Communities and Biosphere 3 Industry Coalition (with 20+ industry partners).
As a natural connector and mobilizer, he catalyzed corporate climate action as co-founder of C-Team in 2014, China’s first action-oriented climate alliance. He convened 15+ international summits including the COP China Corporate Day (mobilizing 50+ Chinese companies at COP28). He launched and led cross-sector platforms like the Shenzhen International Exchange and Cooperation Foundation and Deep Dive executive program, aligning capital, governance, and entrepreneurship with sustainability goals.
