The Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) is excited to announce our participation as a supporting partner at two pivotal events shaping the future of sustainability and energy in Asia. Hosted at The Athenee Hotel in Bangkok, The Economist’s 4th Annual Sustainability Week Asia (March 25–26, 2025) and the Energy Transition Summit Asia (March 26, 2025) will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to accelerate progress toward a greener, net-zero future.
Sustainability Week Asia will welcome over 1,000 attendees, featuring insights from more than 150 speakers across 44 sessions and 30 real-world case studies. The event will focus on strategies to decarbonize organizations, enhance reporting standards, and address Scope 3 emissions while navigating the challenges posed by inflation and geopolitical tensions. Asia-Pacific’s rapid economic growth and investments in renewables position the region as a potential leader in global sustainability efforts, and this gathering offers a unique opportunity for collaboration across the value chain.
Running concurrently on March 26, the Energy Transition Summit Asia will delve into the challenges and opportunities of Asia’s energy transition. With over 300 attendees, 25 expert speakers, and 15 focused sessions, the summit will explore equitable pathways to decarbonize energy systems while maintaining secure and affordable energy access. Discussions will address critical issues such as economic disparities, dependence on fossil fuels, and the geopolitical complexities affecting energy security. The summit’s goal is to empower stakeholders with the tools and knowledge to unlock financial resources, prepare for grid electrification, and close renewable energy gaps.
