GeSI will be hosting a number of dynamic sessions, each focusing on the intersection of digital technology and climate action. Together with partners like Cisco, Google, Deloitte, NEC, and the UNFCCC, we’ll dive into how innovation can drive sustainable policies, climate adaptation, and resilience in both developed and developing regions.

Session Highlights

• Sustainable Policies with Digital Technologies
  We will explore how digital tools can help align green and digital agendas worldwide, bringing together industry leaders and policymakers to discuss actionable strategies that foster environmental and social progress.
• UN Global Innovation Hub Digital Platform
  In collaboration with Unipartner and the UNFCCC, we’ll be introducing the UN Global Innovation Hub’s digital platform, designed to match city needs with market-ready solutions. The session will showcase cutting-edge AI technology that connects sustainable solutions with the needs of communities around the globe.
• AI for Climate Solutions
  This session will demonstrate how artificial intelligence can accelerate climate action, from improving data insights to enhancing operational efficiency. With key voices from Google and BCG, we’ll examine the current AI applications driving climate mitigation and adaptation and explore pathways to scale these impactful solutions.
• Advancing Climate Adaptation with Digital Technology
  This session, featuring GeSI members and UNFCCC Climate Adaptation Director Youssef Nassef, will spotlight tech-driven resilience projects for vulnerable communities and innovative “Adaptation Finance” models. NEC will share new use cases and partnerships that illustrate the power of digital finance solutions for climate resilience.
