Joaquim Croca Joaquim graduated as Electronics engineer from Portuguese Navy Academy followed by Postgraduation in Telecommunications from Lisbon University and Executive Leadership Training at Imperial College, London and Said Business School, Oxford in Business Strategy and Product Innovation.
Joaquim has worked in IT for over 25 years in companies such as Vodafone, Stanley Black & Decker, CDK Global and Radius, as CEO, CRO, CCO as well as Sustainability Director.
Over his career has led numerous initiatives testing and lunching new Sustainable business models and products such as mPesa (Fintech), SMS4Life (medtech) or Mobility as a Service (AutoTech SaaS/MaaS), in collaboration with various entities like UN, EU, the World Bank, global NGO community and the private sector. Joaquim was a Board member to GeSI from 2003 to 2007, responsible for Communications at the time of SMART 2020 development and publication. Joaquim is currently a Board Advisor for several entities in the fields of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies and Business Risk and Crisis Management.
