PRESS RELEASE: Vieira de Almeida joins the Digital with Purpose Movement

We are very pleased to announce that Vieira de Almeida (VdA) is joining the Digital with Purpose (DwP) Movement initiated by the Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSI). 

Vieira de Almeida (VdA) is the leading Law Firm in Portugal and a reference for national legal advice. The firm is strongly committed to contribute to the UN Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to the carbon neutrality objectives of the European Green Deal. In particular, VdA provides every year hundreds of pro bono legal services to non-profit organizations, assist in the development and strengthening of projects in social innovation, social entrepreneurship and investment. One of the focal points of VdA is its Green Project, an internal programme of sustainable development and ecoefficiency aimed at promoting behavioural changes among its people. 

Joining the DwP Movement and partnering with GeSI is a strong step for VdA. Metrics from the DwP framework covering multiple areas from digital trust and responsibility to circular economy, climate change, digital inclusion and supply chain will be a valuable asset to bring greater sustainability to the organization and its clients.
