Press release: GeSI - WBA Partnership Announcement

Brussels, Belgium, 20 Oct 2022 – The Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSI), a globally recognized thought leader and proactive driver of the information and communications technology (ICT) sustainability agenda, and the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) are proud to announce a new partnership.

GeSI’s partnership with WBA affirms a joint commitment to realizing a sustainable digital economy in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Agenda, European Green Deal strategies, Paris Climate Agreement commitments, and other relevant frameworks.

As such, the two organizations will work together within GeSI’s Digital With Purpose (DWP) Movement and the European Green Digital Coalition Stakeholder Group, in a way that will help advance the organizational missions of both parties and realize their sustainability focused activities and objectives.
