The C-SERVEES project focuses on activating circular services in the electric and electronic sector and on the 19th October the project will share its final findings with stakeholders at a physical final event in Brussels.

This highly interactive session is presented in partnership with the ReCiPPS (Resource-efficient Circular Product-Service Systems) project, which has been investigating the implementation of circular manufacturing systems in the white goods and automotive sectors.

There will also be significant input from the European Commission as it continues its drive for a stable circular economy through supporting industry in the large scale implementation of Circular Manufacturing Systems.

Highlights of the agenda:

·        How do the C-SERVEES Circular Economy Business Models work in practice? Demonstrations on TVs, ALMs, printers and toner cartridges, and washing machines.

·        Resource-efficient Circular Product-Service Systems (ReCiPSS) and how large-scale implementation of circular manufacturing systems in the electronics / white goods and automotive sectors can lead to a stable circular economy in the EU

·        Policy-relevant results and insights for the Circular Economy, jointly provided by C-SERVEES and ReCiPSS projects

·        Three Panel discussions involving project and industry experts, and representatives of the European Commission.

Please join us on 19th October to take full advantage of the potential and synergies of two major revolutions of our time: the circular economy and Industry 4.0.

What is C-SERVEES?

C-SERVEES, a Horizon 2020 funded project, has develop and tested new circular business models for four target products: washing machines,  televisions, printers and an access monitoring device used in telecoms. The models are based on the principles of the circular economy and involve a rich consortium that includes research organisations, manufacturers, WEEE recyclers and ICT developers.

This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 776714.

What is ReCiPPS?

ReCiPSS refers to Resource Efficient Circular Product Service Systems which is an EU-funded project in the H2020 innovation action. The overarching goal of the project is to demonstrate the implementation of circular manufacturing systems in white goods and automotive sectors addressing different aspects of the industrial and business environment.

The white good demonstrator represented by Gorenge has deployed more than 250 appliances in pay-per-wash offering in 4 countries across Europe. The automotive demonstrator represented by Bosch and C-ECO GmbH has streamlined the reverse logistics flow of more than  80,000 cores (used automotive parts), enabling aftermarket stakeholders to close the loop by using a single service provider.

This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 776577-2.
