Purpose and Mission for 2020
COP26 has been delayed. Environmental diplomacy put on hold. We cannot postpone the climate emergency. Momentum on climate action must be maintained. But as economies look to rebuild, sectors reopen and society returns, the decision governments and businesses make today and the industries we support will decide the future we create. Supporting the UNFCCC’s Race to Zero campaign, the Forum is our most ambitious programme to date.
Our aim is to set a new standard in broadcast quality virtual events by broadcast live from a London studio with full use of greenscreen and professional production crew. Speakers and partners can join us in studio or virtually from across the world. The 5-day programme will be broadcast live at the same time each day from a professional studio in London and housed within Climate Actions new Virtual Event Platform, creating an optimal environment for meaningful global engagement in the midst of the pandemic.
