Covid-19 has caused a temporary slowdown in emissions, but climate change remains an urgent issue that requires rethinking old habits for telecom operators and service providers. 5G will boost efficiencies and enable innovative approaches to climate change, but it cannot be ignored that 5G networks consume up to 10 times as much power as their 4G forebears. The industry is recognising that greener power solutions are the way to address this challenge, as operators can reduce not just their carbon emissions but also their costs.

Organised by Developing Telecoms, this FREE panel discussion on Making 5G Sustainable, will address these highly topical issues. Join us and hear from a panel of thought leaders drawn from across the industry how a greener approach will benefit 5G deployments in emerging markets and across the global telecoms industry.
