GeSI is committed to building awareness of social and environmental issues in the supply chain. To help enhance supply chain corporate responsibility (CR) capabilities we are developing a series of training resources for our members and suppliers. GeSi and the EICC have commissioned a third party training developer to produce two new online training courses. These will help supplier managers, buyers and factory managers to better understand CR issues, our expectations and the need to integrate CR into supply chain management, as well as introducing tools such as E-TASC. We also plan to develop training resources for workers as well as build up self-study materials on specific topics.
