E-TASC (Electronics - Tool for Accountable Supply Chains) is a web based system for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) companies to manage corporate responsibility throughout their supply chains in an efficient manner.
Launched by GeSI and the EICC at the end of 2007, it already has more than 300 subscribers.
E-TASC provides tools to conduct risk assessment of suppliers via multi-level scoring system. This helps to increase industry awareness of issues existing within its supply chains and, consequently, resolve those issues through correcting them in situ, and eliminating them in the future through supplier education and training.
